The Big Sandy Music Hall has shortly become one of the premier listening rooms of our area. Event Sponsor… $1000 (limited to four per show/event)

Our Wonderful 1920s Building-Where does the money go?

We love our building and want to continue to maintain its look and curb appeal. Feel free to earmark where you’d like your funds to be applied! We will design a ‘thank you’ package that is appropriate for each donors specific need. 

Current building projects include:

  • Building Structure Inside and Outside Upkeep
  • Air Conditioning/Electrical Work, and Upkeep ($1500 due for A/C repairs, Electrical work needed estimated at  $5,000, plus our regular monthly electric /gas bills average $800-1,200)
  • Roof line, and outside wood on eaves, soffits, etc… (Estimated $20,000 needed in repair costs)
  • Landscaping/lawn maintenance, and hopefully flowers this spring!
  • Stage lighting/Electrical
  • Property Taxes ($15,000 due)
  • Plumbing Upkeep maintenance
  • Sound backline/ ryder Artist Expenses
  • Musical Equipment
  • Personnel as dictated by Artists, and Acts
  • Lodging for Musical Acts
  • ASCAP/BMI Licensing costs ($2500 annually)
